Patsy called to let us know that we could pick up all the clothes that did not sell at an estate sale that she was conducting. She explained that she once needed help from Fish and that she would like to pay back for all the support she received from FISH volunteers when she desparately needed it for her family following a divorce.

Kevin stopped by FISH and offered to work as a volunteer because he was in between jobs and wanted to do something worthwhile until he found a job. He thought of FISH because when he was a child his mother needed help. She was able to get food and clothing from FISH during a very difficult time in her life trying to raise her family. He wanted to pay back for all the help his family received.

Donate!

We have as much need in the Summer months as we do during the holiday winter months to feed and clothe local families in need. If you have Summer clothes you don’ t need or if you can donate non-perishable food items and necessities (like soap, razors, tooth paste, etc)…please consider giving to F.I.S.H. Vancouver.

We work with the Oregon Food Bank to buy food, including dairy products and frozen meats, for 10 cents per pound or less. A donation of $10 can provide 100 pounds of food, enough to give a family of four 3 meals a day for 5 days or more.

To donate clothes or non-perishable items, bring them to F.I.S.H. Vancouver.

Donate money to help underprivileged families through F.I.S.H. of  Vancouver.
