Where to Donate

Donations can be dropped off at 906 Harney, Vancouver, WA 98660, from 9 am – 2:15 pm Monday - Friday. If you need to drop off after 2:15 pm, please call us to ensure we have staff available to accept your donation. You may contact us directly by phone 360-695-4903 if you have any questions.

What to Donate

With your kind donations we are able to provide emergency food for more than 15,000 community members each month. The clients who come to FISH come from a wide range of ethnic, cultural, and age groups. We strive to stock a variety of foods to help them in times of need.

We enthusiastically take unopened, unspoiled, and fresh food. We ask that clients avoid donating items in glass containers if possible.

We need a variety of foods including:

  • Fruits and vegetables (fresh or canned)
  • Beans
  • Meats: chicken, tuna, stew, chili, lunch meats
  • Soups
  • Sauces & Condiments
  • Peanut butter and jelly
  • Cereals
  • Baking goods: flour, sugar, honey, cooking oil
  • Specialty diet products (sugar free, gluten free, low sodium, etc)
  • Ready to eat items for unhoused individuals

We also accept some non-food items:

  • Baby food and formula (No expired products will be accepted)
  • Pet food (cat and dog)
  • Women's hygiene products (tampons, pads)
  • Adult incontinence briefs
  • Hygiene products (preferably travel sized for our unhoused clients: soap, shampoo, conditioner, shaving supplies, toothbrushes, toothpaste)
  • Hand and foot warmers
  • Plastic cutlery
  • Garbage bags

Host a Food Drive:

Food drives are essential and enable us to provide a wide variety of food. Our goal is to provide well balanced nutritious food to feed clients and their families. If you would like to host a food drive, please contact the FISH at (360) 695-4903 to find out more details. We have barrels, posters, and helpful materials that we can provide to facilitate a successful food drive.
